JMJ Disability Serv Pty Limited, led by the Chief
Executive Officer and founder, Maria Gumban, is
committed to providing high-quality disability
services across Katherine, Darwin, and Queensland.
Since 2018, we have been dedicated to supporting
individuals with disabilities and ensuring they live
fulfilling, independent lives and have expanded to
include a staff of 200 dedicated members.

Maria Gumban, CEO and Founder of JMJ Disability, is
dedicated to empowering vulnerable individuals
through compassionate leadership. Born and
educated in the Philippines, Maria studied
psychology before moving to Australia, where she
earned a degree in counseling.
Her career journey began in retail and food
management, shaping her leadership skills before
transitioning into aged care and disability services in
the Northern Territory. This pivotal experience ignited
her passion for serving the vulnerable, leading to her
impactful work at JMJ Disability.

Earvin Alinsug, Managing Director of JMJ Disability Serv
Pty Limited, combines his passion for disability services
with a commitment to equitable community
development. With a focus on remote Northern Territory
communities, Earvin ensures tailored, high-quality NDIS
support to meet individual needs, fostering
empowerment and inclusivity.
Beyond leadership, Earvin is a dedicated community
advocate, serving as head coach for the PaRBA under-
14 boys’ basketball team and earning the City of
Palmerston Community Award. His academic
contributions, including research on student wellbeing
and bullying, reflect his expertise. Earvin’s
multidisciplinary journey includes psychology,
education, and law, highlighting his pursuit of
excellence.
